How Academix Point Works
Follow these steps to build a polished, professional CV.
1. Choose a template
Go to Templates and pick a design that fits the role you're applying for. You can switch templates later without losing your content.
2. Fill in your details
Work through each section - Personal Info, Summary, Education, Experience, Skills, Achievements and References - using the stepper at the top of the editor.
3. Use the AI Assistant
On sections like Summary and Experience, use the AI Assistant panel to improve wording, make text more concise, or suggest relevant skills. Always review suggestions before adding them.
4. Check the live preview
Your CV updates on the right as you type, formatted in your chosen template, so you always see exactly what you'll download.
5. Review and download
On the final Review step, check that every section is complete, name your CV, then mark it as completed. Use Download PDF at any time to export your CV.
Tips
- Your work saves automatically as you go, unless you've turned off Autosave in Settings.
- You can adjust Text Size and PDF Page Size in Settings to suit your needs.
- Duplicate a CV from My CVs to quickly tailor it for a different job application.
